Freestyle 2nd Generation
On September 1, 2023, Samsung released a promotional video featuring SUGA to introduce their 2nd generation Freestyle portable projector at IFA 2023. Samsung will unveil their latest brand film starring SUGA to show how he uses the projector. The film will be released on October 5, 2023.
IFA is Europeβs largest consumer trade show held annually in Berlin, Germany.

Galaxy Unpacked July 2023 Event
On July 26, 2023, Samsung held their bi-annual Galaxy Unpacked event for the first time in the companyβs home city of Seoul, South Korea.
Several new products were introduced to include the new Galazy Z Flip 5, Z Fold 5, Galaxy Watch 6, and the Galaxy Tab S9 series.

2023 BTS FESTA
On June 12, 2023, Samsung released its first of congratulatory videos featuring BTS in celebration of the bandβs 10th anniversary.
Galaxy S23 Ultra
On May 18, 2023, Samsung released photos of SUGA and their latest mobile phone, the Galaxy S23 Ultra. He eventually would post photos of himself from his D-Day tour using the phone.
On June 12, 2023, a special message video of Jimin was also released showing him using the capabilities of the Galaxy S23 Ultra while also celebrating the 10th anniversary of BTS.

Over the Horizon 2022 by Suga
On August 15, 2022 KST, Samsung released an all new interpretation of their musical theme βOver the Horizon 2022β produced by Suga of BTS.
Sugaβs goal of this yearβs theme was to encourage people to look to a bright future and to think about what excitement is waiting βOver the Horizonβ. Since the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S2 in 2011, Suga is the first artist to remix the sounds twice and to produce a tune for the latest edition of Galaxy foldables.
Fans will soon be able to enjoy the newest theme as a ringtone through a future software update on various Galaxy devices.

Galaxy Unpacked Aug. 2022 Event
On August 10, 2022, Samsung held their August 2022 Galaxy Unpacked Event unveiling their latest line of foldable devices, smartwatches, and wireless earbuds.
Samsung also released two never before seen digital films starring BTS across several major cities including Time Square in New York City, Piccadilly Circus in London, Kudamm in Berlin, and COEX in Seoul.
The first film highlights new experiences offered by the Galaxy Flip4 and features the bandβs song βYet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)β celebrating Samsungβs newest shade of βBora Purpleβ. The second film is a brand new digital film to βOver the Horizon by Sugaβ, a reimagining of the iconic tune produced by Suga in 2021 in honor of the 10th anniversary of the ringtone.

Galaxy S22 & S8
On March 29, 2022, Samsung released nightography portraits via their Samsung Galaxy Twitter as part of their βMake Nights Epic with BTSβ collaboration with the band to promote the Galaxy S22. Samsung first posted teaser portraits of each memberβs silhouette along with a brief description asking fans to guess who it is. The answers were revealed later that day showing full view of the member.
On February 9, 2022, Samsung collaborated again to introduce their new Galaxy S22 series and Galaxy Tab S8 series. The S22 series consists of the Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra smartphones while the S8 series consists of the Galaxy Tab S8, S8+, and S8 Ultra.
While made of recycled material of βrepurposed ocean-bound discarded fishing nets,β the Galaxy S22 series is the latest step in Samsungβs βGalaxy for the Planetβ initiative to bring awareness to the worldβs ongoing environmental crisis and the damage it has caused to marine life.

Galaxy Unpacked Feb. 2022 Event
On February 9, 2022, Samsung held their Galaxy Unpacked February 2022 Event virtually via their official YouTube channel. During this event, the tech company unveiled their next generation of Galaxy devices to include smartphones and tablets.

Over the Horizon by Suga
On August 11, 2021, Samsung released a behind the scenes video with BTSβ Suga sharing how he reimagined Samsungβs βOver the Horizonβ musical theme.
Ten years ago, Samsung set out to create a signature sound that would motivate people to push their limits. Since then, it has been reimagined with each new edition of the Galaxy S Series. In the year of its tenth anniversary, beloved musical artist SUGA is the latest to produce the tune for the new editions of the Galaxy Z Series.

On July 30, 2021, Samsung released their first teaser video featuring BTS to promote their βGalaxy Unpackedβ event that took place on August 11, 2021.
The Galaxy Unpacked event streamed live via Samsungβs official website and introduced the brandβs new electronic gadgets that included the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 phones as well as the Galaxy Buds 2, Galaxy Watch 4, and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic.

On February 20, 2021, Samsung revealed their Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G commercial featuring BTS. Shot in black and white, the 15-second spot features the members with their song βLife Goes Onβ as the soundbed. The lads are captured in the smartphoneβs 8K video footage, and theyβre framed with the tagline, βMade for the epic in everyday.β
The ad aired during BTSβ 30-minute MTV Unplugged special on February 23, 2021.

Galaxy Unpacked Aug 2020 Event
On August 5, 2020, BTS guest-appeared on Samsungβs βGalaxy Unpacked 2020β event that streamed online worldwide for the first time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Samsung released a series of teasers and sneak peek videos of BTS in anticipation of their August and September Galaxy Unpacked events at which new Galaxy merchandise was revealed. BTS first appeared in a video that was played at a previous Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event.

Galaxy S20 + BTS Edition
On July 9, 2020, Samsung revealed their new design of the Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition featuring a purple glass and metal exterior. This followed the release of the Galaxy S20 in March 2020.
The Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition and Buds+ charging case, also available in purple, carry the bandβs logo and purple heart iconography, allowing fans all over the world to show their devotion through their smartphone and wearables.

Initial Announcement
On February 20, 2020, Samsung Electronics Corporation announced a partnership with BTS for marketing of their new smartphones. The collaboration kicked off with Samsung providing Galaxy phone users with a augmented reality (AR) service to experience the bandβs global contemporary art initiative known as βConnect BTS.β
βConnect BTSβ is a global initiative spearheaded in collaboration with curators from five major cities around the world to connect people through art.
