On August 19, 2025, McDonalds announced its latest collaboration with BTS for the release of the TinyTAN Happy Meal.

The meal features two sets of special TinyTAN toys inspired by the BTS members: the Throwback Edition featuring each character in 2021 BTS meal promo outfits and the Encore Edition featuring each character in outfits from the latest collaboration.

The Throwback Edition will be available starting September 3, 2025, while the Encore Edition will be available starting September 23, 2025.

Initial Announcement

On May 26, 2021, fast-food chain McDonald’s launched their limited edition BTS Meal and merchandise collections in collaboration with BTS.

The meal included 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium fries, a medium Coke, and for the first time in the U.S., sweet chili and Cajun dipping sauces inspired by popular recipes from McDonald’s restaurants in South Korea. The BTS meal was available in participating restaurants worldwide until June 20, 2021.

The McDonald’s x BTS merchandise collection was initially released alongside the BTS meal, however a second drop, known as the “Saucy” and “Melty” collections, was later released on June 16, 2021. Both collections were inspired by the BTS Meal and the band’s hit song, “Butter.”
