First K-Pop Group To Achieve Daesang Sweep At The Melon Music Awards

BTS has made history at the 2019 Melon Music Awards!

BTS took home a total of 8 awards, including all four Daesang (grand prize) awards, and became the first artist in MMA history achieve a Daesang all-kill.

This is the third time that BTS has won the Album of the Year Daesang. They are also the first artist to achieve this feat. The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever earned them their first Daesang at the 2016 MMA and they earned their second Album of the Year Daesang in 2018 for Love Yourself: Tear.

With this year’s awards, BTS has won a total of 23 awards and is now the artist to have the most MMA awards.
