j-hope makes history, becoming the first South Korean artist to headline a main stage at Lollapalooza, a major U.S. music festival!
The four-day festival took place in Chicagoโs Grant Park from July 28-31. j-hope closed out the festival on July 31 with a memorable performance that included songs from his recently released first solo album, Jack in the Box. โThe prep work included deep dives into perfecting his live delivery of the first two singles (โMoreโ and โArsonโ) from his first solo album, Jack in the Box, and theyโre the songs he says heโs most excited to perform for the first time. โThey are also songs that have styles that I havenโt performed before,โ he explains. โSo I practiced a lot because they are kind of difficult songs to do live.โโ
