Office Worker Kim Seokjin

On August 10, 2022 KST, MapleStory released a teaser video for ‘Office Worker Kim Seokjin’, the company’s latest collaboration with BTS member Jin. The video shows Jin walking towards his new workplace Nexon and ends with him straightening his outfit and declaring the words ‘Mapler Kim Seokjin goes to work!’

This web reality show starring Jin shows him going through rigorous tasks and facing hardships after starting his new job as an Game Planner with Nexon, the game development company behind MapleStory.

The first episode of the show premiered on August 16, 2022 KST and can be viewed on the MapleStory KR YouTube page.

Initial Announcement

On November 24, 2020 KST, Nexon’s multi-player online video game, MapleStory, announced their collaboration with BTS. MapleStory is a free-to-play side scrolling MMORPG developed by Wizet, where players defeat monsters as they travel and explore Maple World.

The MapleStory x BTS collection features items designed by all the members and included a special limited edition ARMY bomb and Black Swan set that was available from December 17, 2020 until January 21, 2021.

Following the announcement, MapleStory released a teaser video and episodes featuring the band as they shared memories and ideas about playing the game and creating new characters and storyline.
