- Pre-Debut -
V auditioned for Big Hit in 2011 and was selected as the sixth member of BTS. He was hidden from the public until the first official teaser photos of BTS were released.
On April 15, 2013, Jimin posted a photo on Twitter with V with the following caption:
“Yesterday! I came to take a profile picture! I was so excited the whole time I was taking it.. But who is this person kneeling??”
On June 25, 2012, V made an appearance in 2AM’s JoKwon ‘I’m Da One’ music video along side Jin, SUGA, j-hope, and Jungkook.
- 2013 -
On June 13, 2013, V debuted as part of BTS on Mnet M! Countdown performing their track ‘No More Dream’ from the band’s debut single album ‘2 Cool 4 Skool’.
On July 10, 2013, V released his first pre-debut vlog on BTS’ official YouTube channel, BANGTANTV, where he spoke about his time spent with his band members before he was officially revealed as a member.
On October 1, 2013, BTS released their song, ‘Beautiful,’ featuring j-hope, Jimin, V, & Jungkook. It is adaptation of Mariah Carey’s song with the same name.
On December 23, 2013, BTS released the song titled, ‘A Typical Idol’s Christmas (흔한 아이돌의 크리스마스),’ featuring Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, and V. The song is an adaptation of Justin Bieber’s song, ‘Only Thing I Ever Get for Christmas.'

The song was co-wrote and produced by Jimin and was the second time a Korean artist was featured in a Marvel film.

On July 22, 2022, the first episode of ‘In the Soop: Friendcation’ starring the Wooga Crew (V, Park Seojoon, Park Hyungshik, Choi Wooshik, and Peakboy) aired on JTBC and Disney+ Asia.
The series became available in the US on Disney+ on October 19, 2022.
